The Stardust Reverie Project was Victor Banner's first attemp to create music inspired by comic books and horror films. It spanned through nine years and the resulting thing were a couple of albums featuring Victor's biggest heroes from the metal and prog scene giving musical life to characters such as the Watchmen, Spiderman, the Universal Monsters and Peter Pan just to name a few.

Ancient Rites of the Moon was followed by the critical aclaimed Proclamation of Shadows wich became the swang song for the band.
